“There are things we see too early, and never unsee.”
Visceral holds the raw intensity of seeing what you weren’t ready to see — the rupture of violence, the weight of oppression, the silence after trauma. At the same time, it carries the resilience that comes when memory refuses to stay buried.
You might recognize grief here, the kind that comes from loss, injustice, or time itself. You might also feel the tremor of revolution, the strain of being human in the face of power. Or perhaps it speaks to the unprocessed corners within you, where memory and emotion still live in shadow.
